Tribal

A Native folk band from the Shuswap Nation, Tribal blends funk, jazz, fusion, and folk music. Their unique style of traditional and not-so- traditional rhythms produce a sound that is distinctive, fresh, and mesmerizing. The hypnotizing guitar seems to converse with the band like an ancient soul language that has been lost for many years.

Tribal is influenced by such bands as Johnny Lee Hooker, Primus, The Doors, Victor Wooten, Bele Fleck and the Flecktones, Jimi Hendrix, and Canned Heat to name a few; as well as classic, alternative, and progressive rock artists such as Dave Matthews Band, Ben Harper and Traditional Pow Wow music.
